Supervision for LPC Associates
Kendra is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the State of Texas and has been providing supervision since 2014. She enjoys seeing her Associates grow in their skills and is committed to helping them find their niche.
As a supervisor, Kendra is responsible for providing ongoing training, support, and oversight to ensure supervisees are developing into effective counselors. Kendra provides weekly face-to-face or virtual supervision. As an LPC Associate, you will learn the LPC Board rules, learn where to locate the rules and other relevant statutes, be provided guidance on how to manage crisis situations, and be guided through the steps of mandated reporting. You will have a safe space to process your fears, concerns, and successes as you grow into your unique style as an independently licensed clinician. Kendra takes her role as a supervisor seriously and works to ensure each supervisee develops into a competent, ethical counselor.
Kendra has worked in residential foster care, the psychiatric hospital, for a managed care organization, and currently works in the school system. She has primarily worked with children and adolescents in the clinical setting. Kendra has experience supervising Associates in the following settings:
- Residential Foster Care
- Community Mental Health
- Non-Profit Agencies
- School Systems
- Group Practice
- Psychiatric Hospital
Supervision is conducted according to the standards required by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.
Fees are $250/month for 4 hours of individual supervision.
- Supervision services are only for LPC Associates in Texas.
