I have experience leading professional development and workshops for educators, foster/adoptive families, and residential/direct care staff. Training will be adapted to meet the needs of your group. I strive to help organizations move beyond being trauma-informed into truly integrating trauma-informed practices and creating healing systems. Training topics include but are not limited to understanding the effects of trauma on the body and brain, practical strategies to implement trauma-informed concepts in schools and homes, and creating resiliency in children.
Training can be provided virtually or in person.
I am a certified HOPE facilitator. HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences) incorporates the science of Positive Childhood Experiences to create opportunities for children to grow into healthy and resilient adults.
